This region of Italy is truly unparalleled in beauty, culture, and luxury travel experiences. Whether you’re craving an immersion into viticulture or you’re pining to stroll the halls of the country’s best museums, Toscana will exceed all desires. I adore spending a few nights in my old stomping grounds of Florence -taking in views of the Arno from Piazzale Michelangelo, working my way through the flavors on tap at Gelateria dei Neri, and spending a quiet morning appreciating the Botticellis at the Uffizi, followed by some retail therapy on Via Roma.
When the city has tired you out, make your way to the countryside of Chianti and Montepulciano, perhaps taking respite at Borgo Santo Pietro, or Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. You will encounter the loveliest, hidden villages and towns just waiting to be explored on foot or by Vespa, and each meal is sure to be a memory in itself. One day can bring about a ‘vineyard-crawl’ across Chianti, while another might take you to a cashmere goat farm, where family can enjoy playtime with the herd.
We can piece together the perfect balance of culture, relaxation, and indulgence for your time in this region. Some prefer Tuscany as a precursor to more cultural exploration down in Rome, while others work their way North to the luxurious seaside escapes of Portofino and Lake Como. There is no place dearer to my heart, and no itinerary we can’t bring to life.
