Maui

Maui is such a special place for an escape. Ideal for couples or families, I love how deeply you can immerse yourself into the local culture in such a short time. I’ve been traveling to Maui since childhood with my parents, and most recently in 2019, I visited with my husband. We were lucky enough to get engaged on the water’s edge of Wailea, nestled on a grassy cliff near Marriott’s Wailea Beach Hotel, and the Grand Wailea.

I adore the accommodations and service of Four Seasons Wailea, but there are so many excellent options depending on your budget, preferences, and vacation ‘crew’. You can expect to spend your days snorkeling with sea turtles, grazing on fresh fish, and partaking in a cultural activity if you are so inclined. When I think of Maui, I can vividly recall strolling the bohemian streets of Paia, coasting by the infinity pool at the Four Seasons, and meeting the most wonderful locals. I’m also reminded of the volcanic plunge pools of Spa Grande and the next-level sashimi at Mama’s Fish House.

We can explore your vision for a trip to Maui -perhaps paired with a stay on Lanai or Kauai’i. I’ve advised many on the pros and cons between each luxury property, the array of restaurants across the island, and the best excursions worth both the investment of time and money. There is nothing worse than committing to a 7 hour at-sea excursion, only to return disappointed and worn out. As a lover of both relaxing spa days and adventures at sea, we can strike the perfect balance for your experience.
