We spent the majority of our time lounging on the deck of our bungalow and plunge pool, snorkeling in the on-property lagoons teeming with local marine life, and taking ample advantage of each property’s incredible spas. Adrenaline junkies can get their fix, as most properties on the island offer sky diving, parasailing, and underwater excursions led by a team of expert locals. Following your active days in the sun, be sure to rise early at least one morning to watch the sunrise over Mt. Otemanu, followed by a breakfast of fresh coconut water, tropical fruits, and Tahitian Ipo bread.
